Translift Freight

Translift operate a modern, professional and highly efficient fleet of crane-off-load block delivery vehicles that can be seen on the roads all around the UK in their distinctive green and orange livery. A diverse fleet of tipper and tanker vehicles deliver hundreds of thousands of tonnes of aggregates per annum into the Plasmor manufacturing plants around the country.

At the numerous Plasmor manufacturing sites, quarries and distribution depots Translift operate all the Companies mobile plant including many bespoke, specialist and sophisticated pieces of machinery.

Plasmor customers in the South of England and London are serviced by two distribution depots which receive daily stock deliveries by a unique rail freight system utilising Translift’s own specially converted railway wagons which form dedicated daily block delivery trains.
The total fleet of over 200 vehicles and 100 rail wagons are serviced on site at dedicated road and rail fleet workshops.

Translift Freight are Members of the Freight Transport Association (FTA).

Translift Freight are silver Accredited in FORS. The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme which is an industry-led accreditation scheme that aims to promote road freight as a safe and sustainable mode of transportation in a way that supports economic growth and environmental targets whilst helping to improve our quality of life.
All Translift Freight vehicles are fitted with Telematics and Tracker systems to improve management control, communication and logistics planning.

All Translift Freight drivers are systematically trained in Tutorial and Practical Roadcraft arenas, both internally and externally, demonstrate Industry Best Practice and qualified as follows:
CPC - Certificate of Professional Competence.
SAFED - Safe and Fuel Efficiency Driving.
ALLMI - The Association of Lorry Loader Manufacturers and Importers.
CPCS - Construction Plant Competence Scheme.
EPIC - Certification for the extractive and mineral processing industries.
The Translift rail freight distribution is a member of The Private Wagon Federation (PWF) and is accredited with ECM (Entity in Charge of Maintenance).
